You are eligible to become a member of KALSEE Credit Union if you live, work or are educated in the following Michigan counties:

  • Allegan County

  • Barry County

  • Branch County

  • Calhoun County

  • Cass County

  • Kalamazoo County

  • St. Joseph County

  • Van Buren County

If you receive a retirement annuity, pension, social security, or similar retirement payment from private or government sources, and live in, or belong to a retirement organization located in Kalamazoo County, or in a county next to the county where KALSEE’s principal place of business is located.

Opening Your New KALSEE Account

Once you have determined that you are eligible for membership at KALSEE Credit Union, you may stop by any KALSEE office with the following:

  • Your valid government issued picture identification

  • Your Social Security Number

  • A minimum Savings deposit of $25.00, which must remain in your account at all times.

Open an Account right at the Car Dealership!

For your convenience, most car dealerships within our eligibility area are able to open your new KALSEE account right at the dealership at the time of your vehicle purchase. We work with many new and used car agents in our membership area, so check any Kalamazoo-Battle Creek area dealer you plan to make a purchase from!

KALSEE Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative owned and operated by its members. Your initial deposit of $25.00 opens your savings account, and is your share in the credit union. All savings accounts are insured to at least $250,000 by the National Credit Union Administration, an agency of the Federal Government. Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA) funds are insured for an additional $250,000.
