Teachers need a resource for an often mandated, but also underfunded curriculum of financial literacy education. Financial literacy has yet to achieve standard curriculum status: finding quality resources poses a real challenge.
KALSEE partners with Junior Achievement of Southwest Michigan to bring financial literacy programs to local schools.
JA prepares students for the real world by teaching life and workplace skills across many age groups, from elementary to high school. Local educators can visit the JA website to request a program for their classroom, and ask for a KALSEE staff member to facilitate it!
